CONCRETE INJECTION

We offer a full range of concrete injection solutions for newbuild reinforced concrete walls.

Reinforced concrete walls offer a great Type B waterproofing solution but are prone to failure for a number of reasons. Typical failures occur because of poorly placed concrete, inconsistent concrete mix, contaminants in the concrete or poorly installed water bars.

Failure may take months of even years to materialise and its never usually practical to remove the concrete and start again.

The solution is to inject specialist chemicals, under pressure, into the cavities of the concrete to seal any holes.

The concrete can be made waterproof by filling up the cracks and fissures with a fast setting injection glue. This is injected at pressures up to 200PSI into the concrete using specialist machinery. The liquid sets quickly and seals the cracks permanently.

We use a range of Desoi injection pumps to inject liquids such as polyurethane resin into the cracks. The machines have the capability to fill cracks over several metres from the injection point and offer a much less invasive way of sealing the concrete without affecting its integral strength. The water is held back from the face of the concrete and diverted elsewhere.

The process is a specialist task and we have a team of installers who have been trained by our suppliers in the installation of the products. Our operatives have trained with Desoi, John Newton and our Belgian supplier, Tradecc.

Every job is slightly different and will require a site survey first to determine the correct Tradecc liquids and Desoi injection machine combination. The inherent difficulty in this technique is that its not possible to see all the cracks in the concrete so a strategy must be devised to fix the cracks that are currently leaking as well as any additional cracks which start to leak after the initial injection fix.

Our injection solutions are suitable for reinforced concrete wallls, floor, liftpits, piles, ramps, joins from existing to new structures as well as tanks, viaducts and storage chambers.

We offer a full design service for your basement project, and can offer a comprehensive Professional Indemnity Insurance solution for basements which need the design to be insured.

Our work is guaranteed and we offer a variety of value for money packages which suit specific site conditions.
