SELF ADHESIVE PRODUCTS
We offer a variety of Self Adhesive solutions to waterproof and gasproof your underground structure or retaining walls.
Careful preparation of the substrate is always needed prior to the application of self adhesive products, and it is normal to apply a fairing coat of cement as well as a primer coat to give a smooth and consistent surface on blockwork or rough surfaces.
It’s also crucially important stop the passage of water behind the self adhesive product.
We fit a variety of self Adhesive products from our suppliers: Newton , Newton Hydrobond SA ; Sikaproof P12, Visqueen Self Adhesive and Self Adhesive GR, RIW Sheetseal and RIW Sheetseal GR are regular examples. Usually the self adhesive product will form part of a larger range of products installed to make the basement waterproof.
Self Adhesive products are especially useful on large and flat areas and shapes, and usually on reinforced concrete substrates.
We’ve installed Self Adhesive products on a wide variety of
buildings from the smallest domestic basement to the largest underground
commercial bunkers. Our designers hold the required CSSW qualifications and
have many years experience in designing waterproofing systems which meet and
exceed BS8102:2009.
